A bit about Chris Billam Smith

I am an Amateur boxer for Poole ABC with BIG dreams. Seed no.2 in the ABA Elite National Championships 2014.  Currently aiming for Rio 2016 Olympics!

I’ve been involved in sport my entire life. I played football, badminton, and hockey but started boxing at 16 and never looked back. I believe that anyone can achieve their wildest dreams through “hard work, dedication”.

Nutrition is a passion of mine. I LOVE food!

I have worked in the fitness industry for 5 years now, personal training, gym instructing, training professional/amateur boxers and specialise in teaching boxing technique and fitness. I trained Steve Bendall for his WBU World title winning fight in Germany which included, his running, strength + conditioning and nutrition plan alongside the boxing work.

Interests

As you probably know by now I love boxing and food. Besides these interests, I love to inspire people to be happy, healthy and positive. I enjoy all sports from water sports, to team sports and of course individual sports. I enjoy travelling all over the world from Australia to bodyboard, Europe to ski and to Vegas for the boxing. I love to laugh and have a good time so another interest is Kiran Patel’s terrible humour (although it can be painful at times!).
