I'm Carla-a fitness instructor teaching predominantly Pilates and dance-aerobics sessions. I fell into the industry via the route of dance-studying ballet, tap and modern until age 17 when education took priority. During my mid-twenties I found that I missed the camaraderie and challenges of dance exams, festivals and performing, plus the buzz from the physical exertion, so I started attending adult classes and taught children at the local youth club. Since then I've gained various qualifications, and continue to further my knowledge with specialist courses.
I find music incredibly powerful and love how moving to music has such a positive effect on mind and body, I make sure there's space for plenty of laughter in my sessions and welcome freestyle too! I teach all ages and abilities-aiming to make everybody feel welcome and free to work at their own level, to find enjoyment through exercise.
