After taking the plunge for a career change, I did my first solo trip abroad and travelled to India to do my 3 week intensive 200 hour Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow teacher training. My love of yoga came about through my dance background, starting from a young age all the way to 18. I then started to feel the pull towards something new to keep me active and flexible and I began my own yoga practice by attending a gym class. My knowledge and understanding of the body and movement harmonised for me in helping me to work through some personal challenges, finding my empowerment and strength once again in my own body. Over lockdown I wanted to expand my knowledge, specifically with regards to the female body, completing my 85 hours Pregnancy & postnatal yoga with the amazing Sally Parkes. This course has given me specific knowledge about the female body for all stages of pregnancy and how beneficial yoga can support a mother mentally and physically through her journey.
My classes are a safe space for everyone to come along to, a relaxed environment to help empower individuals, building their trust in their bodies & to take time away and let the mind focus on themselves for those 60 minutes. A style balanced between moving with breath, fluidity & building strength. A smile and positivity will always be there to welcome you at the door!
