From the age of 3, I have had the opportunity to study a wide range of dance genres. These include Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Commercial, Irish, and Spanish dance. I’m a fully qualified dance teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in Ballet, Tap & Modern, a registered Acrobatic Arts instructor and a licensed BalletBums instructor. As a freelance teacher I’m privileged to teach pupils young and old, and over the years have gained endless experience. My passion for teaching has led me to regularly run a special needs keep fit & dance class. I’ve also branched out and choreographed wedding couples' first dance and run hen dance parties. In most recent years I have fulfilled my childhood dream of opening my own dance school GJ Dance Academy.
As a professional performer, I have danced in incredible venues across the UK and have completed several successful summer contracts in Rhodes, Turkey, and Kos. Alongside my dance teaching I set up a small cabaret company GJ Cabarets and for the past 10 years have successfully been performing in various venues in Dorset & Hampshire.
