Women's Health Physiotherapy is a specialised physiotherapy service aimed at assessing and treating the broad spectrum of physical changes and issues that occur throughout a woman's life.
These issues can range of conditions such as pregnancy related (pre- and post-natal) pelvic issues, problems with bladder or bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and pelvic floor weakness.
Women’s Health Physiotherapists provide treatment for a range of conditions, amongst them:
Assessments include a discussion about your medical history, any menopause symptoms you might be experiencing and lifestyle factors that might influence your perimenopause and post menopause health and wellness.
This will include a more detailed discussion about your pelvic floor, bladder, and bowel function as well as any issues with sex and a discussion about any musculoskeletal problems you may be experiencing
